My uncle and aunt are coming in town. I do not get to see them much with the hectic schedules, trying to start a new business, getting engaged. It’s good to see them and catch up. I’ve always been close to family. My family is very typical and very loving. We have our odd family members and our kind family members, and sometimes they are the same person rolled into one.
As my family comes to town (We have a small family). I was going to a few of them to invest in my new business. Not much, just a few thousand to help me get off the ground and generate some revenue. How do you ask family for money and do I really want a family member to be that involved in my financial decisions? I’m not sure I do. Of course, the flip side of that argument is – I could really use some seed money to help get this thing started.
With credit being so tight at the moment and my new company being so new I doubt I could obtain credit any other way. It might be my only choice is to reach out to family and friends. If I do, I will ask with dignity and explain to them what I will use the money for. I will tell them exactly when they can expect to get paid back.
This really does not tie into the cash advance business, but it does stress the point – If you need cash, even a few hundred dollars. Make sure to think about asking family first.
